The Oklahoma City Thunder have signed Jaylen Hoard to a two-way contract.

NBA teams are allowed to carry two two-way players on their roster.

The signing of Moses Brown last week left just Josh Hall to be the only player on the roster with a two-way deal.

For a team that’s rebuilding, this makes sense.

With the 10-day signing of Justin Robinson, OKC will look to try out as many young players as possible and see which ones stick in terms of who gets to stay with the team in the long run.

Hoard spent this season with the OKC Blue, averaging 9.7 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 2.0 assists a game in 15 games during the G League Bubble season.

The French native went undrafted during the 2019 NBA Draft after spending one season with Wake Forest, where he averaged 13.1 points and 7.6 rebounds in 31 games.
