First, it was Oklahoma City Thunder’s, Billy Donovan. Now, Houston Rockets’ Mike D’Antoni has decided to part ways with his team after being eliminated from the NBA playoffs.
On Sunday, D’Antoni informed Rockets ownership that he was not returning to the team next season, ESPN’s breaking news guru Adrian Wojnarowski reported.
ESPN Sources: Houston coach Mike D’Antoni is informing the franchise’s ownership today that he’s becoming a free agent and won’t return to the Rockets next season.

And like Donovan, D’Antoni passed on signing an extension before the season began, according to Woj.

There are plenty of rumors out there to where he could land up: Philly or New Orleans.
Next season will be exciting when it comes to seeing who OKC and Houston pick to lead their teams.
