The Seattle guy is gone and OKC is back in the house!

Hey, there all you cool cats and kittens!!

We are just four months into 2020, and a lot has happened. January lasted 50 days, a pandemic has almost shut down the entire universe, Netflix decided to combat our boredom with the insane documentary ‘Tiger King’, and I’m taking over as site manager of Welcome to Loud City, starting today!

I’ve been with WTLC since 2013. Since being here, I would have to say the highlight was when our incredibly talented group broke the news of Russell Westbrook re-signing with the Thunder in 2016 - we even got a shoutout by Darnell Mayberry.

What’s even more remarkable about that day was that we beat ESPN’s Adrian Wojnowarski by three hours. #winning.

Other highlights have been this and this.

Oh, boy. When Golden State’s Draymond Green kicked Steven Adams in 2016 - the buzz in that locker room after the game was electric. (You catch the interview after the game here. (On that last video, please don’t judge me for how I held my cell phone. It was a one-time mistake [that I still regret to this day], and I can promise you I won’t ever record anyone, especially Steven Adams, that way again. Bad form on my part!)

Another cool thing I’ve been able to do while at WTLC is interview ESPN’s Cassidy Hubbarth!

Oh, interviewing Oklahoma City Mayor David Holt and learning how the Thunder came to play in Oklahoma City was genuinely remarkable. (Part 1, Part 2, and Part 3.)

Before I bounce off here and I want to say thank you to Kevin Nesgoda, Thank you for mentoring me and always being an excellent soundboard. It was a blast working beside you all these years. I cannot wait to see what you’ll do next!

I am very honored that SB Nation has passed the torch from Kevin to me, and I can’t wait to take WTLC to new heights!
