Enes Kanter to be released by Knicks; should the Thunder welcome him back? Update — Kanter signs with Portland

New, comments

OKC traded the big man to get Melo. Can that trade be completely undone now?

Enes Kanter has reportedly signed with the Portland Trail Blazers:

Signing with Portland is, shall we say, humorously ironic.

In the midst of the NBA trade deadline comotion, the Knicks have been preparing to buy out backup center and former Thunder big man and Stache Bro, Enes Kanter. According to Woj:

Once the Knicks failed to find a buyer to take on Kanter’s $18.6M contract, the writing was on the wall, according to Posting and Toasting:

Honestly, this probably should have already happened weeks ago, particularly once David Fizdale started sitting Kanter in favor of younger centers Mitchell Robinson and Luke Kornet, leading Kanter to complain about it Knicks fans, in their infinite wisdom, started chanting “We want Kan-ter” at home games, and Kanter cheerfully pumped his fists along to the chants. Is it any wonder this franchise has lost 15 straight home games?

Oh, it is magical to be a Knicks fan in these interesting times.

Anyway, simple question:

Do you think the Thunder should bring back Enes Kanter?
