Steven Adams releases his new book.

Thunder’s center, Steven Adams releases his new autobiography book to his native country, New Zealand, on Monday. Know more here.

Rico Hines UCLA Run.

Russell Westbrook, Deonte Burton, Hamidou Diallo, Terrance Ferguson, Devon Hall, and Kyle Singler were all seen at Stockton Kings assistant coach, Rico Hines, 5 on 5 scrimmages that were taken place at UCLA and include players from the Toronto Raptors, Trevor Ariza, Corey Brewer, and much more. Let’s just say Russ went 110% at this scrimmage.

Thunder releases 2018 preseason schedule.

The Thunder releases their 2018 preseason schedule that will go on from October 3 to October 9. Know more here.

Abdel Nader guaranteed contract.

Thunder new wing, Abdel Nader, who they acquired in a trade on July 23 that involve a player swap between Rodney Purvis and Nader, $1.4M contract is now guaranteed after for not being waived before Wednesday. Thunder currently have 15 players on guaranteed contracts, might see some changes to cut down the roster to at least 14 players.

Potential OKC vs. GSW season opening game.

According to Gary Washburn of the Boston Globe, there is a good chance that we might see the Thunder going face to face with the back to back and defending champs, Golden State Warriors, that will be part of a TNT doubleheader including Philadelphia 76ers vs. Boston Celtics on October 16. If true, the game will be taken place at the Oracle Arena on Ring Ceremony Night.

Bob Beyer to be in Billy Donovan’s coaching staff.

The Thunder will be adding Bob Beyer to Billy Donovan’s coaching staff, who will be replacing Adrian Griffin who left to join the Toronto Raptors earlier this summer. per Royce Young

Beyer was formerly a Detroit Pistons assistant coach from 2014 to 2018 and was also Siena College head coach from 1994 to 1997.

Rico Hines UCLA run II

Thunder players were seen at Rico Hines UCLA run once again, but a majority of the team were running scrimmages together and getting to know and build that team chemistry with each other.

Thunder players that were there include Russell Westbrook, Steven Adams, Dennis Schroder, Paul George, Raymond Felton, Devon Hall, Deonte Burton, Hamidou Diallo, Terrance Ferguson, and Kyle Singler.

Thursday, August 2

Andre Roberson at UCLA.

Just like most of the team working out at UCLA, the Oklahoma City Thunder Instagram page posted a picture of Roberson working out this summer at UCLA practice facility.

Would be a big plus if he improved his shooting he has been struggling lately. It’s also nice to see him back on the basketball court after suffering that gruesome injury last January.
