The U.S. National Team selects their roster for each international competition from this pool. Now that the list of 35 has been determined, the team, coached by Gregg Popovich, will begin to prep for the 2019 FIBA World Cup in China and the 2020 Olympics in Japan. Twelve-man rosters will be selected for both competitions.
Both Westbrook and George are expected to attend Team USA’s minicamp this July in Las Vegas. The two players have each won Olympic gold medals with the U.S. National Team.
