Game Two Injury Report

Utah’s Donovan Mitchell headlines the injury buzz heading into Game 2.

NBA: Utah Jazz at Oklahoma City Thunder Mark D. Smith-USA TODAY Sports

The Thunder look to take a 2-0 series lead tonight in OKC, while the Utah Jazz are hoping to even the series at 1. The two teams tip-off at the ‘Peake tonight at 7:00 PM CT.

With Game 2 just a few hours away, let’s take a quick look at tonight’s injury report.

Thunder

Paul George: George was diagnosed with a hip contusion late in Sunday night’s Game 1 victory. Despite the injury, George was still dominant, scoring 24 of his 36 points after the hard fall. He was limited in practice yesterday and received treatment during this morning’s team shootaround. George did not meet with the media after either practice, but all signs point to him being in tonight’s starting lineup.

Corey Brewer: Brewer said his sprained right knee was at “80 percent” during Sunday’s Game 1. He participated in contact on Tuesday and was a full participant in this morning’s shootaround. He scored 7 points in 34 minutes on Sunday and is expected to start again tonight.

Andre Roberson: *Sigh*

Jazz

Donovan Mitchell: Utah’s rookie star injured is listed as questionable for Game 2 after injuring his left foot on Sunday. X-rays came back negative, and Mitchell was a full participant in this morning’s shootaround, but he remains questionable for tonight’s matchup. Despite no confirmation that Mitchell will play in Game 2, I would be shocked if the Jazz are without their leading scorer on Wednesday night. He scored 27 points and 10 rebounds in Game 1.
