Donovan did not commit to giving him minutes, but he said he wants to get him on the floor. He’ll wear no. 3 in his new OKC threads.

The Oklahoma City Thunder announced the signing of 11-year veteran swingman, Corey Brewer, a move rumored since the Lakers and Brewer agreed to a buyout on Wednesday. Terms of the agreement were not released.
Brewer is joining the 8th team of his career since he was the 7th overall pick in 2007 NBA draft by the Minnesota Timberwolves. Prior to his pro career, the 6’9” SG played for Thunder head coach Billy Donovan at the University of Florida and helped lead the Gators to back to back National Championships in 2006 and 2007.
Brewer is the first of Donovan’s old college players to join forces with him since taking over the reins for the Thunder 3 seasons ago and the expectations are that Brewer, not known as a strong offensive player, will help fill some of the defensive void created by the Andre Roberson injury.
