‘Steven Adams, destroyer of worlds’

ESPN’s Zach Lowe recently showed the big Kiwi some love.

Steven Adams, destroyer of worlds” may be the best quote I’ve read so far this NBA season.

It took a little while, but the NBA globe is finally realizing how great Steven Adams really is. As the WTLC community knows, I am a firm believer in Adams’ elite status, so the Thunder big man’s appearance in Zach Lowe’s “10 Things” column was a nice little surprise.

Lowe focuses on the “close-range violence Adams commits underneath the rim on every possession”. Thunder fans know this all too well, as Adams constantly wears down opposing big men night in and night out.

Lowe goes on to note Adams’ skill on the offense glass, pointing out that he’s rebounded almost 18% of OKC’s misses while on the floor. Joakim Noah and Andre Drummond are the only two players in the last decade to post numbers like that.

He’s labeled as the “perfect supporting player”, a “beast on defense”, and a “wonderful player”. If you love Steven Adams, you’ll defintely want to give Zach Lowe’s most recent “10 Things” a read.

Which world would Steven Adams destroy first?
