The Thunder dropped a painful one against the struggling Bulls a week ago; can they play the right way tonight?

The Thunder welcome Chicago to the Peake tonight looking to win their second in a row after a bull of a past week (ah, get it? ahem...). You might recall and even pontificate that OKC didn’t do so well when they traveled to the Windy City, dropping a painful one to a Bulls squad nearing full-on mutiny because apparently they’re coached by Tony Soprano. That loss spiraled into two tough additional losses to the Pelicans and Nuggets this past week, and after a sour shot of espresso, now the Thunder find themselves out of 1st place looking up. Probably for the best, to be sure.

The Thunder recovered in time to win a tough Western battle against the Clippers, and now they must have their revenge against Chicago tonight. But can they do it, when their leading star is still struggling with the basics of layups?

Even so, tonight’s game will once again come down to how OKC defends against the Bulls, and whether they can snuff out a whiff of hope before it burns too bright. Paul George has been on a tear, but we will be looking to role players such as Terrance Ferguson, Hamidou Diallo, and Alex Abrines to do better than they have as of late.

As you prepare for tonight’s battle royale, I encourage you to stop on by the legendary Bulls site Blog a Bull for some fun entertainment. They have been enduring the Chicago off-broadway show for a while now, and their pure formula of tragedy + time = comedy is something to behold. For instance, this gem.

Unrelated I’m sure, but Zach LaVine and Jabari “Eggs” Parker are listed as “day-to-day.”

Please Billy, give me some Deonte time tonight.
