Serge Ibaka was in OKC earlier this week, catching up with former teammates and current best buds, Steven Adams and Andre Roberson. The trio grabbed a bite to eat and posed for a photo to celebrate the occasion.

Earlier this week, former Oklahoma City Thunder forward Serge Ibaka spent some time catching up with a few old friends. Their get-together marks the first time Ibaka reportedly has returned to OKC after being sent to the Orlando Magic as part of a draft night trade this summer. Via Ibaka’s Facebook profile, Serge can be seen spending quality time with his pals, Steven Adams and Andre Roberson.

Sometimes when a veteran who has spent the entirety of their career with the team that drafted them and then gets traded, they hold some resentment towards the franchise that dealt them (shout out Reggie Jackson). However, Ibaka has always been an exemplary player on and off the floor. It doesn't look like that will change anytime soon.

Serge Ibaka also posted a heartfelt goodbye to the people of Oklahoma City on his Instagram back in June after being traded to Orlando.

Per Ibaka’s Instagram post:

"Time flies. 7 years in Oklahoma City, a place where I grew up, became the player I am today, competed with a great team and made great friends. A place I can call home. Thank you state of Oklahoma and your wonderful people. Thank you OKC Thunder, staff, employees, teammates and fans. You will be in my heart forever."

It's hard to say goodbye, though Thunder fans wish Ibaka good luck in Orlando with the Magic. Perhaps the three will go out again after the Magic come to town on Nov. 13. The Thunder and Magic won't meet again until late March.
