The Oklahoma City Thunder organization has much to anticipate as the NBA has announced its official 2016-17 regular-season schedule. Oklahoma City will benefit from added rest while playing the fewest back-to-back contests (13) league-wide. In addition, last year's Western Conference Finalists will enjoy prime-national exposure and no shortage of dramatic matchups.

Following his acrimonious departure via free-agency, 2014 MVP Kevin Durant will return to Chesapeake Energy Arena for an emotional Feb. 11 showdown. In total, the Thunder and Warriors will play four times next season. The teams' first two contests take place Nov. 3 and Jan. 18 in Oakland; with a final meeting to be held March 20 in Oklahoma City.

Ex-Thunder standout Serge Ibaka returns to his former home Sunday, Nov. 13. Ibaka was traded to the Orlando Magic on Draft night for Victor Oladipo, Ersan Ilyasova and the draft-rights of Domantas Sabonis.

Finally, the Thunder will appear in 30 nationally-televised contests on NBA TV, ESPN, ABC and TNT. Oklahoma City will visit Minnesota for a 7 PM Christmas Day thriller airing on ESPN.

Below is a look at the Oklahoma City Thunder's official 16'-17' regular-season schedule.

Oklahoma City opens its upcoming regular season Oct. 26 in an ESPN-televised encounter opposite the new-look Philadelphia 76'ers.
