WTLC says goodbye to beloved Thunder blog dog, Mattie

If you've been following WTLC for any length of time, you are aware of our OKC artist Bennett Berry and his regular photoshop image work for our game coverage. If you've been paying attention, there is one particular recurring character in those images - Bennett's dog Mattie.

Today we got the sad news that Mattie, WTLC's official blog dog for the past four years, said goodbye to us for a final time. Said Bennett: " She was a great girl and she'll be extraordinarily missed...If she has it her way, and she's very forceful like that, she'll haunt the Thunder and demand they do a 'win one for the Gipper' thing."

While there is little doubt that Mattie will continue to make appearances in our website's artwork, this post is our tribute to a fantastic artist's fantastic dog.
