The legendary Michael Jordan will be presenting Russell Westbrook into the Oklahoma Hall of Fame Thursday, November 17th in Oklahoma City.
I for one thought Kevin Durant might have reciprocated Russ' favor and taken the podium with his former teammate — after all, Russ did the honors during KD’s induction. Concerning this possibility, at last season's ceremonies, Durant stated: “Hopefully we will be here again next year for Russell’s induction." Unfortunately, Durant has since changed addresses. I apologize for opening those old wounds and pouring salt all over them.
The show, however, must go on and it will. Other inductees into 2016's Oklahoma Hall of Fame class include Rita Bly Aragon, Michael Burrage, Dan Dillingham, Becky Dixon and Kelli O'Hara.

Via NewsOK an enthusiastic Westbrook stated the significance of Jordan's presence for the event.
"It's definitely a huge honor in itself for M.J. to come down to Oklahoma and take part in the Oklahoma Hall of Fame festivities. It really means a lot to me that he's going to be there, and it's something that I definitely don't take for granted."
The 89th Oklahoma Hall of Fame Banquet & Induction Ceremony will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 17.
