Even though Kevin Durant had a truncated season in 2014-15, he's still the apple of the 2015 NBA rookie class' eye. From Erik Horne at The Oklahoman:
When asked "Who is your favorite player in the league?," 21.2 percent of the rookies polled picked Durant in this year's NBA Rookie Survey. Durant, selected as the rookies' favorite player for the second year in a row, beat out Kobe Bryant (18.2 percent) and LeBron James (15.2 percent).
Thunder guard Russell Westbrook picked up some votes, but not enough to land in the Top 6 with Durant, Bryant, James, Stephen Curry, Dwyane Wade and James Harden.
Who is your favorite player in the league?
1. Kevin Durant, Oklahoma City, 21.2 percent
2. Kobe Bryant, L.A. Lakers, 18.2 percent
3. LeBron James, Cleveland, 15.2 percent
Tie-4, Stephen Curry, Golden State, 9.1 percent; Dwyane Wade, Miami, 9.1 percent
6. James Harden, Houston, 6.1 percent
I'm actually really surprised that Dwyane Wade beat out Russell Westbrook. What year do these kids think it is?
