The tireless fashionisto Russell Westbrook is using his co-ownership of eyewear company Westbrook Frames to take his integration of fashion into the NBA one step further. You can now purchase some pretty fly frames designed for seven teams, but eventually eyewear will be available for all 30 NBA teams.
The NBA Series featuring the Boston Celtics, Cleveland Cavaliers, Brooklyn Nets, LA Clippers, LA Lakers, Miami Heat and New York Knicks can be purchased for $145 at WestbrookFrames.com and will start shipping in July of 2015.
The benefit with all of these big markets is pretty obvious, but it would have been cool for the Thunder to have been included in the initial release since... you know. Regardless, the colors on these look really great. That's how it usually goes with higher end goods. I can't wait to see how the rest of the NBA turns out.
If you'll recall, Russell Westbrook made his foray into the world of eyewear fashion back during the 2012 NBA Finals. This pair of red glasses was what started a fashion trend that crept across the entire NBA.

And after taking the world by storm, Russ continued to show us glimpses of his style throughout the series.

Unfortunately Russ continues to look more and more annoyed in his stunning frames due to the outcomes of these games. I'm pretty sure that Game 1 with the red frames was the only time he smiled.

Those teal and purple frames are probably my favorite. I'm a big fan of the cooler colors, and they remind me of 90's Nickelodeon.

Who knows what Westbrook gets himself into next!
