Thunder 2015 NBA draft rumors: Oklahoma City may have made promise to draft Cameron Payne at 14

Reports have surfaced that the Oklahoma City Thunder have an agreement to take Cameron Payne with pick 14.

League sources suspect that Cameron Payne already has a draft promise. I'm hearing there's a really good chance he goes in the lottery.

If we assume that this rumor is true, who exactly is Cameron Payne?

Payne should slide in nicely and give the Thunder minutes at point, but he could also find a spot with the 2nd unit. I think his best chance at making an impact long term is as a 6th man. In fact with his ability to score the basketball he could easily be a guy who end's up winning a 6th man of the year award.
