Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook attended the ESPY's ceremony. They didn't leave empty handed.

Russell Westbrook was named as the Comeback Athlete of the Year, in a year where he overcame 3 surgeries to repair his torn meniscus. He led his team to the 2014 NBA western conference finals and was their most consistent player throughout.  Westbrook became the first player since NBA hall of famer Oscar Roberson to average 26 points, 8 assists, and 7 rebounds in a postseason.

Kevin Durant took home two ESPY awards, Best Male Athlete of the Year, and Best NBA Player. Durant beat out his male athlete nominees including Miguel Cabrera of the Detriot Tigers, Peyton Manning of Denver Broncos, and boxer Floyd Mayweather.

"Everybody helped me out along the way," Kevin Durant said. "My beautiful mom watching at home who couldn’t be here. My favorite teammate russell Westbrook."
