On Wednesday night, the Oklahoma City Thunder officially re-signed forward Grant Jerrett who was acquired by the Thunder in 2013, Jerrett spent the last season playing in Tulsa, averaging 15.1 points, and 6.1 rebounds while shooting 43% from the field, and 36% from the 3-point line. Jerrett did not appear in any Thunder games, but OKC thinks highly enough of him to continue to invest in his growth as an NBA prospect.
'' Grant had an excellent and productive season with the Tulsa 66ers '' Oklahoma City Thunder general Sam Presti said '' We are excited to see him move forward within our program ''
The Oklahoma City Thunder roster now involves 15 signed players.
1. Russell Westbrook
2. Anthony Morrow
3. Kevin Durant
4. Serge Ibaka
5. Kendrick Perkins
6. Nick Collison
7. Steven Adams
8. Jeremy Lamb
9. Reggie Jackson
10. Andre Roberson
11. Perry Jones III
12. Hasheem Thabeet
13. Mitch McGary
14. Grant Jerrett
15. Sebastian Telfair
Josh Huestis and Semaj Christon still remain unsigned by the Oklahoma City Thunder. They will probably end up playing with Tulsa 66ers as the Thunder already has a third back up point guard as well as several back up forwards.
The most ideal way for the Thunder in order to sign on of these respective players is by waiving a player, and that player is most likely to be Hasheem Thabeet. On the other end, the only reason Hasheem Thabeet might not be waived is that Scott Brooks might want to have a third back up center on the team.
