Xavier guard Semaj Christon switched hats multiple times last night as his draft rights were traded more than once, but ended up with the Oklahoma City Thunder. Picked with the Miami Heat's 55th overall pick, he was acquired by the Charlotte Hornets in the Shabazz Napier/P.J. Hairston trade and then traded to the Thunder in exchange for cash considerations, per the Boston Globe's Gary Washburn.
Most draft projections had pegged Semaj Christon as a late-second rounder or undrafted prospect. He's 6'3" and weighs 183 lbs, and averaged 17.0 points on 47.9% shooting along with 4.2 assists last season. DraftExpress ranked Christon 67th overall and Ricky O'Donnell from the main SB Nation NBA page described him as "an athletic lead guard who likes to attack the basket."
