Update:
Sonics Rising managing editor and friend of WTLC Kevin Nesgoda was at the Staples Center. Here is his report on Westbrook:
In the middle of the 2nd quarter on a very innocuous play, Russell Westbrook went up for an offensive rebound, but his right hand got caught up in the jersey of Kendrick Perkins, potentially also slamming into his lower back, fracturing the metacarpal bone below his index finger according to my source at the Staples Center.
Westbrook went to the bench shortly after the initial injury, but came back later in the quarter. He then was pulled out a few minutes later and went straight to the locker room where he would not return.
The Thunder star will meet with a surgeon tomorrow morning in Oklahoma City for further evaluation.
The standard timeline for healing is anywhere between 6 to 12 weeks, with the first four weeks spent in a cast. Should have a better idea tomorrow morning on the status of Russ going forward.

Here is footage of the play, as well as an altercation with a Clipper fan as he was leaving the stadium.
Westbrook later returned to the bench with ice on his hand and appeared to be in good spirits. His status going forward is undetermined at this time.
