2013-14 NBA Season: Thunder announce 2013 preseason schedule

Before the 2013-14 NBA season begins, the Thunder will play two games overseas and then head back to the United States to play in seven preseason games.

The Oklahoma City Thunder are set to show off their skills in Oklahoma City, Tulsa, Okla., and Wichita, Kan., during the upcoming preseason. Like they have in years past, OKC will hit the road and participate in seven preseason games just before the NBA regular season kicks off.

Before the Thunder make their way to play their home preseason games, they will head to Istanbul, Turkey Saturday, Oct. 5 as part of the NBA's Global Games. While in Istanbul, the Thunder will face Fenerbahce Ulker, who are the five-time Turkish champions. Following that matchup, the Thunder will play the Philadelphia 76ers Tuesday, Oct. 8 at Phones 4u Arena in Manchester, England. Fans will be able to watch these two games on NBA-TV.

Once OKC gets back to the States, the Thunder will open their preseason schedule at Chespeake Energy Arena against the Denver Nuggets Tuesday, Oct. 15. They also will play the Utah Jazz Sunday, Oct. 20 at Chesapeake Energy Arena.

For the fifth-straight year, OKC will head to the BOK Center in Tulsa to play a preseason game. This year, they will face the New Orleans Pelicans on Thursday, Oct. 17. The game will be broadcasted on Fox Sports Oklahoma at 7 p.m. CST.

The Thunder are set to wrap-up their seven-game preseason play in Phoenix and Wichita when they play head to Phoenix to play the Phoenix Suns Tuesday, Oct. 22 and head to Wichita to play the Chicago Bulls Wednesday, Oct. 23 at the INTRUST Bank Arena. The Thunder vs. Bulls game will be shown on ESPN at 8:30 p.m. CST

If you are unable to make it to a television to catch the games, don't worry. You will be able to catch the preseason action by listening to the Thunder Radio Network, led by flagship WWLS (98.1 FM) in Oklahoma City.
