2013-2014 NBA Season early predictions: Thunder 11/2 odds to win it all

With the 2012-13 season finished, we now turn to see how the oddsmakers feel about the Thunder next year.

Howard Smith-US PRESSWIRE

The Oklahoma City Thunder suffered a bitter end to their once-promising 2012-13 season, falling in 5 games to the Memphis Grizzlies. They could only watch as the San Antonio Spurs and Miami Heat went to battle for a memorable 7 games, with the Heat taking the Title. Now that the season is over, oddsmakers immediately look to next season.

According to the online betting website Bovada, Miami are the favorites to win the O'Brien Championship Trophy for the third straight time in 2014.

Although the Thunder didn't reach the NBA Finals in 2013, they are listed with the second-best odds at 11/2.

If Vegas is right, this would be a rematch of the 2012 Finals.

In the table below we compare the early odds for 2014 with a year ago.
