Kobe on Ibaka: "I probably would have smacked him in the mouth"

New, comments

Kobe Bryant doesn't mince words as to how he'd respond if he were in Blake Griffin's situation.

"You make that foul a flagrant-1 and you're entering a world of pain!"

By now, you've all seen the Serge Ibaka advertisement for his new patent pending product, "I-Blocka-Yo-B@lls!" line of men's protective-wear. If by some miracle you haven't, here it is in full animated gif-ing glory.

When Kobe Bryant was asked how he would have reacted had Ibaka done such a thing to him, this was his response, per Royce Young at CBS Sports:

"I probably would have smacked him in the mouth," Kobe told reporters Monday, via the L.A. Daily News.

That's assuming Bryant was able to stand after taking a shot to a sensitive area.

"I would've dealt with the pain afterwards," Kobe said.

Clearly, Kobe has taken a cue from fellow celeb Neil Diamond:

Said Dwight Howard, who could find himself battling Ibaka on Tuesday night if the league doesn't hand down a suspension: "You gotta wear a cup."

"He goes hard," Howard said. "Balls out. Serge Ibaka."

Balls out, indeed. Or perhaps, keep them in the barn door and out of the Serge Protector's way.
