There's one week left until the regular season tips off and I really can't wait. Can you?

Thinking of catching the Thunder on the road? Daily Thunder runs down a list of away games this season that might be worth visiting.
Russell Westbrook took place in some parts of the Thunder's practice on Monday and for the first time all training camp, the Thunder had all their players participate in practice even if Westbrook was limited. Here's Anthony Slater with a recap of Westbrook's practice.
"Oh, man. Russell today..." Jackson said when asked how Westbrook looked, cracking a sly smile. "It's actually funny. My brother and his brother talk a little before games. His brother told mine that Russell's probably bouncing better than ever. I had to see it to believe it. One of the dunks (today), he went up and looked like the old Russell, plus some, head at the rim. We'll be happy when he gets back fully healthy, but it's good to see him with a smile on his face, being about the team, bouncing back and happy to be back on the court."
Are you a fan of the now defunct Basketball Jones show? Yes? Of course you are. Good news for you - Skeets and Melas are back in a brand new show called The Starters, and their podcast is found here.
Have you ever wanted to shop at a professional basketball players house? Well you should check out what Michael Finley did during the weekend.
If you thought the Sixers couldn't get any worse, you were wrong. Nerlens Noel might not suit up at all this season for Philadelphia. Will he try and grow an Andrew Bynum type afro now?
Philadelphia 76ers rookie center Nerlens Noel may miss the entire 2013-14 season with a torn ACL suffered in February as a member of the Kentucky Wildcats. Sixers coach Brett Brown suggested to reporters on Monday that rehab on Noel's ACL has been slow and that he could miss his entire rookie campaign. Brown told reporters he doubts Noel sees the court this season.
Metta World Peace has been on a roll lately and the season has not even begun. if you haven't seen this "confrontation" between World Peace and Tyler Hansbrough, just click HERE. You're welcome.
On a sadder note, Bill Russell apologized for his incident at a Seattle airport involving a loaded gun.
"Before boarding my flight from Seattle to Boston, I had accidentally left a legal firearm in my bag. I apologize and truly regret the mistake," he said. "I was issued a citation by the TSA, whose agents couldn't have been more thorough and professional when dealing with this. I really appreciate their efforts to keep air travel safe."
Also, in case you missed it, Hasheem Thabeet has been suspended for the first regular season game for a head butt on Greg Stiemsma.
Lastly, offered without comment.
My top teams in the West are the Clippers, Spurs, Grizzlies, Warriors and Rockets. Look out for the Lakers, Nuggets, Blazers and Mavs.
