Thunder vs Heat: OKC Wears Down, Trails 3-1 [Game 4 Video Highlights]

The Heat defeated the Thunder last night and claimed a 3-1 lead in the 2012 NBA Finals. For at least the first half, it appeared that the Thunder had finally figured out how to get their offense running more efficiently. They jumped out to an early lead and were executing better than they ever had in the series, and OKC fans finally felt a glimmer of hope.

Hope vanished pretty quickly when the Heat went on a 16-2 run at the beginning of the 2nd quarter, knotted the game, and we knew we were in for another nail biter. In the 2nd half, the Heat continued to execute and play defense a little bit better than the Thunder in all regards, as well as avoid the mental mistakes that have plagued the Thunder late in games. A critical error following a jump ball all but sealed the loss, and now OKC has one shot left to keep their season alive.
