When you're a player, you get a number of perks. And in this case, one of them is customized team gear. In a photo recently posted to Twitter and Instagram by Serge Ibaka, he's hanging with fellow Spanish national team teammate Jose Calderon....and wearing a leopard printed Thunder hat.

The funny thing about this photo is that otherwise, Serge's clothes are pretty unremarkable. He's just wearing a gray jacket and tracksuit pants. But he threw in a light blue Thunder hat with leopard print. It's strange, but I think it's a nice use of a leopard print. I've seen too many burnt out Dodge Neons with leopard print on the seats and women sporting cheesy leopard print blouses. So it's nice to see Serge bring it back in a big way.

Of course, we all know that Ibaka is a bit of a fashionista, having done shoots for fashion magazines before. He also often posts split screen images of himself doing different poses in different outfits, often calling it "with class" in French or "always classy" in Spanish. You can find examples here and here.

But he also once wore a full on animal on his head, so I suppose the leopard print thing makes sense. Just wait, next season, he'll be showing up to games in a straight up bear costume! And the Thunder will have leopard print alternates, looking just about as good as the Raptors camouflage uniforms did last year.
