Congratulations are in order for the Thunder's very own Russell Westbrook who, despite some fierce competition, has been named one of the seven Western Conference reserves.

Along with Westbrook, the Western Conference coaches also selected Manu Ginobili, Tim Duncan, Deron Williams, Dirk Nowitzki, Pau Gasol, and super-rookie Blake Griffin to join the game of dunks and no defense.
The head coach for the West will be Greg Popovich, who is both intelligent and aware that this game is all about putting guys out on the floor who play well together. With Chris Paul as the primary trigger-man, things look to be off to the races with him throwing outlets to Griffin, Durant, Kobe, Ginobili, and now Westbrook. Let's hope he and Griffin don't get the rookie jitters and just try to wait for the big moments to come to them.
