And the odyssey continues.

The Dallas Mavericks, an opponent who we have given tough times ever since we came into existence, are now in a fight for their lives. They sit on the 2 seed as it stands, but they only have a half-game cushion between them and the 4 seed. After that, they're in danger of falling to the Spurs, who are only 3.5 games behind. Needless to say, this game is looking like a must win for them, and they'll come out with guns ablazin', especially with the Suns, who are on a 10 game win streak, playing the weaker Bucks tonight.

The Thunder should just be glad to be where they're at, but they're still forging ahead, fighting for playoff seeding. They just beat the Celtics, a much more experienced team that's also fighting for playoff seeding. Judging by how both teams have been doing recently and by looking as past matchups, it can be determined that this upcoming game is looking like a tossup.

The Thunder emerged from the last matchup victorious, as the Mavericks were just getting used to having Caron Butler on their team, and we got a huge boost from James Harden. As much as I'd love to see the Thunder win, I don't think we're going to be able to limit the Mavericks to 32.3% Shooting again, especially Dirk.

Prediction: Dallas 103, Oklahoma City 102
