Backstory: I won't lie. This game is a must win if we want to have a realistic chance of getting the 4 seed.
The San Antonio Spurs are tough, but they're the most winnable game we'll have this week. First and foremost, Tony Parker is out. This means the Spurs have to rely heavily on Duncan and Ginobili to get the scoring job done. Sure, a George Hill or or Richard Jefferson will step in and help, but if Duncan or Ginobili is neutralized, the Spurs goose is really cooked. You can't just focus on two guys like that when talking about the other games this week.
We've also played them tough before. We've proven that we can shut down Ginobili on January 13th. We lost by only one point, and as I remember, the game was very winnable. We beat them early on in the season mostly by playing great defense.
Bleh, my brain is just a mess at this point. I do know, however, that the Thunder are going to have to find a way to stem the tide inside, or we could easily see a repeat of what happened last night.
Prediction: Oklahoma City 104, San Antonio 102
