Backstory: These two teams have records that are almost mirror images of each other, and it is very indicative of what directions both teams are going. The Thunder are on the up and up with a bright future, while the Pacers continue to lie in mediocrity, with bloated contracts and little hope for the immediate future.
In all honesty, I'm not worried about this game one bit. The Pacers have no incentive to beat us, their starting lineup includes Earl Watson, and their big man depth is atrocious. Expect Hibbert to lay it on a bit down low and for Granger to throw up a lot of shots, but whatever they do will be so inefficient that it would take a miraculous defensive effort from them in order to win. And with Troy Murphy's Charmin soft defense, I really doubt that's going to happen.
Prediction: Oklahoma City 109, Indiana 98
