I don't know about you guys, but when I get home on a Friday, or after any other day of hard work for that matter, there's nothing I like to do more than kick back in my recliner and watch some mindless TV for about a half an hour. So, as a tribute to that, I'm starting a feature every Friday where I'll post a video or two that you can kick back and enjoy.
This week, NBA 2K11 will be coming out on Tuesday. And one of the games modes will give you the opportunity to play as Michael Jordan through some of his greatest career moments, something that I and many gamers have dreamed of for years. In that same vein, I'd like to present to you one of the greatest intros NBC has ever done for a playoff series while covering the NBA. The 1992 Bulls-Blazers series, in which Michael Jordan hit six 3 pointers in the first half of Game 5, and famously shrugged after his last basket. The moment will be playable in NBA 2K11. Look below and get a feel of what the atmosphere around the series was like at the time.
So, you might ask, what would Kevin Durant, the most humble superstar of our day, do for his 22nd Birthday Celebration? Have a huge party with hundreds of his closest friends at a club in Washington, D.C. of course! He shares the party with rapper Wale, whose birthday is only 8 days away from Durant's. Say what you want about how humble and shy Kevin Durant is, but everybody has their wild side. Unfortunately (or fortunately), unlike Greg Oden, Kevin Durant is pretty good at hiding his private life. So below, you'll find no images of Kevin Durant, but rather the massive party that everybody enjoyed. However, there is a silent video that has a couple clips of him walking through the crowd at 0:50 and 1:26, if you're interested.
