Thunder recall D.J. White, Kyle Weaver From Tulsa

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP)—The Oklahoma City Thunder are recalling forward D.J. White and guard Kyle Weaver from the Tulsa 66ers of the NBA Development League. Thunder general manager announced the moves on Saturday. White has appeared in six games for the 66ers during three assignments to the D-League. He averaged 18.3 points, 7.2 rebounds and 1.5 blocked shots in 31 minutes per game while in Tulsa. Weaver saw action in two games during his first assignment to the 66ers. He averaged 17 points, nine assists and 7.5 rebounds in 44 minutes per game.

Thunder recalls D.J. White from Tulsa 66ers

The Oklahoma City Thunder has recalled forward D.J. White from the Tulsa 66ers of the NBA Development League. White was assigned to Tulsa on March 18 and played in three games averaging 17.3 points, 9.7 rebounds, 2.0 blocks and 1.0 assist in 37.7 minutes. White, a rookie, has spent most of the season rehabbing from jaw surgery. He was acquired as part of a draft-day trade with the Detroit Pistons, who selected White 29th overall in the first round.

WTLC Live Tulsa 66ers Blog (Tonight 7pm)

WTLC will have Live Photo's and Impressions of Thunder Rookie D.J. White as he makes his home debut for the Tulsa 66ers tonight at 7pm.Thunder fans have waited all season to see what D.J. White could potentially bring to the table for this Oklahoma City Franchise. After finally getting medically clearance to once again play basketball this past Monday, he made his Professional debut on Wednesday in Colorado and put up a double double, 15 and 10 off the bench. Tonight, we get our first live look at DJ (Spirit Bank Event Center) and will be posting live pictures and impressions from the Tulsa 66ers game in the Live Blog tonight at 7pm. So be sure to check back around then, and every 15 minutes thereafter for updates.

The Thunder have another day off, so if you're itching for some basketball, check out our live blog tonight from the 66ers game. You can also watch the game live on futurecast, or if you're in the Tulsa area, head on over to the Spirit Bank Event Center and check them out. They got a rare win yesterday in an afternoon overtime game that saw Shaun Livingston dish out 11 assists in his 3rd game with the team. Who needs the Big 12 tournament when you have great D-League action going on just up the street, or a mouse click away?

Welcome to Loud City Sunday Double Feature

Just wanted to let everyone know that I'll be doing a LIVE BLOG from the Tulsa 66ers game tomorrow at 3pm, followed by our normal Live Commenting for the Thunder game tomorrow Evening. Its my first time doing a live blog on site (Thanks so much to Scott at Ridiculous Upside for getting this ball rolling, and Ryan with the Tulsa 66ers), but I'm hoping to give you guys a look at how fun it is to watch the 66ers in the intimate Spirit Bank Event Center. You can expect Updates every 15 minutes once the game gets underway, as well as pictures to go along with that.
