The many highs and lows of Jim Ross's WWE career

With Jim Ross recently being forced into retirement by WWE management, it's a fitting time to chronicle the many highs and lows of Good Ol JR's checkered WWE career and his love hate relationship with Vince McMahon.

Big-12-baseballl-tournament

Without Nebraska, the Big XII is literally redefining the game of baseballl. Obviously, they didn't invest any of Nebraska's buyout money on a spellchecker.

Vince McMahon bullies Jim Ross again at SummerSlam and Raw

Vince McMahon bullies Jim Ross again at SummerSlam and Raw. For those that were wondering why WWE's best announcer by far wasn't announcing at SummerSlam, it was because Vince McMahon decided to mess with Ross' head for what seems like the millionth time.

Eric Rodgers Joins The Copper & Blue, Neal Takes A Break

Even though things are changing at The Copper & Blue, our level of Barons' coverage and analysis won't take a hit. Here's why.

So we all know the outcome of last night. We also know this isn't the first time the Blazers have fallen apart like this down the stretch when leading the game. So I finally put together a jump shot vs drive/paint shot video analysis thingy. The game last night reminded me of the Grizzlies game (also at the Rose Garden) when the Blazers started to resort to jump shots. It makes me mad and decided to just make a video showing why the constant jump shots when having the lead is a horrible thing (and allows the opponent right back in the game when they do it). This game was pretty bad though, the video starts with 6 minutes left in the 4th and goes through every Blazer possession and their shot choices including attempts/made/free throws and total points. Armon's shot does not count because he is Armon (the total points Armon has at the end is pretty funny compared to the total jump shot points). Hope you enjoy it and I'll make some more of these, I might even make one from the Bucks game last night just to show the difference. Also I uploaded another Blazer Phantom video which is #2. It's not as obvious but it was the block Marcus Camby made which was clean but called a foul. In HD you can see it was clearly all ball. All in fun, it will be interesting to see the collection I get from now to the end of the season. Video located here : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h1U60S9YxP4 Again sorry about the poor quality, I'm working my way to getting my tuner upgraded to record everything in HD (like my previous videos from the last 2 years) and slowly gathering the funds to do so. Once I get it then everything will be crystal clear. This method works for now. More to come!

Loud Links Weekend Fast Break: 2010-2011 NBA TV Preview

NBA TV's Rick Kamla, Kevin McHale and Dennis Scott give a preview for the Thunder for the upcoming season. They project the starting lineup this season to be Durant, Westbrook, Sefalosha, Green and Krstic, however I would not be surprised to see Harden replace Sefalosha as the starter on more than one occasion.

OKC Fans Can Expect Entertainment, Not Wins

I wish I could say "I told you so" about C.J. Miles looking to leave, but dudes, it was one rough joke at the time. (Full story here.) So good luck to Morris Almond, a class act who looks to slide...
