The 2009 NBA Draft Lottery has come and gone, and for Thunder fans, it was exciting as ever. As they counted down the teams 1 by 1, the anticipation grew more and more.

Well folks! This is it! The moment of Truth is upon us, and the Oklahoma City Thunder will be involved in their first ever NBA Draft Lottery selection show tonight at 7:30pm Local Time on ESPN.

The Oklahoma City Thunder announced the other day that the newly installed, full time, head coach of the Thunder, Scott Brooks will be representing the team at the 2009 NBA Draft Lottery. So today we'll take a few moments to discuss the choice, as well as see who other teams are sending to the 2009 NBA Draft Lottery to represent their respective organizations.

The 2009 NBA Draft Lottery is now officially less than a week away, and as it gets closer, I thought it might be interesting to take a look at the history of teams sitting in our current position heading into the lottery. Meaning, where did teams with the 4th worst record end up after the draft lottery?

If you read our story, "Understanding the NBA Draft Lottery System," you probably saw that we mentioned the Oklahoma City Thunder's worst case scenario coming out of the NBA Draft Lottery.

We're now less than a month away from the NBA Draft Lottery selection show (May 19, 2009), and it dawned on me that many Oklahoma City Thunder fans might not have a full understanding of how the NBA Draft Lottery works.

Since we have a little time to kill before the 2009 NBA Draft Lottery selection, I figured we could use that time to take a look back at each player and evaluate them for the 2008-09 Season.
