The Summer League rolls on, and even though Perry Jones III was out tonight because of a knee injury, the game was still fun to watch. Without Jones, the Thunder became a run it up and down the floor team, destroying a stale Pistons team.
On Day 2 of the Orlando Summer League, the Thunder faced off against the Indiana Pacers. The game was led almost throughout by the Pacers.
During the Summer League most players are out there to impress scouts, with their skills, not impress anybody with their ability to fit within a particular system. So I'll focus my recap on the individual performances of the Thunder players, along with a few notes on some of the other team's performers as well.
Basketball never stops. Especially not for Cole Aldrich, Lazar Hayward, and Reggie Jackson, who spent most of their time late last season riding the pine, only getting action in practice or when gum was passed out. Now, we'll get to see what they really have to offer against some of the other league's top prospects in the Orlando Summer League this week.
