Okay, so there isn't usually a lot of ranting on this blog, but tonight, I'm really pissed off, so I'm going to let it fly! KSBI is garbage, and why they were chosen to broadcast 7 pre-season, and 17 regular season games was about the Stupidest decision the Thunder Organization has made thus far. The station "Supposedly" has over the air coverage in most of the State, and the county I live in is listed as in their over the air coverage area, but let me tell you, you can't see a damn thing when trying to tune in over the air, I mean nothing! I even bought an expensive high quality antenna (which I've since returned) so I could watch Thunder games broadcast on KSBI and not Fox Sports Oklahoma, and all I got was snow.
I sent an email to KSBI expressing my displeasure with their "over the air" coverage area claims, but they never returned my email. Those of us outside of OKC, more specifically, in and around the Tulsa area, have lucked out various times this year for KSBI broadcasts. Reason being is because of Cox Communications picking up the game and carrying it on Cox Channel 3. So as usual for KSBI carried games, I tuned into to channel 3 at game time, despite what the guide says (because they usually aren't even listed even though they are on), and the game wasn't on. My head just about exploded. I'm so sick of KSBI broadcasting Thunder games that I could drive down to OKC and rip the broadcasting antenna right off of the top of their station so that maybe then someone would do something about it!
If I'm not mistaken as well, I believe I heard on the radio (The Big Show AM 1430 The Buzz), that KSBI's broadcast of Thunder games had to be taken over by Fox Sports Oklahoma because their broadcast was so horrible. So while the presentation may have been fixed, thanks Fox, the coverage area has not! Right now I should be watching the Thunder take on the Bulls, but now I'm stuck with sitting here being pissed off and wishing the KSBI building would burn down in a horrible and terrible fire.
YOU SUCK, BURN YOUR BUILDING DOWN AND STOP ALL BROADCASTING IMMEDIATELY!
