Gameday: Cleveland (22-4) at Thunder

gamedayokccle01The Cavaliers travel the to Ford Center tonight with good memories of facing this young Thunder team. In its only game versus the Thunder, Cleveland got up early and never looked back. All in all, thats probably even an understatement as the Thunder trailed at halftime by 34 points, which was 2 points more than they scored in the first half altogether. More impressively for Cleveland, the did so with only 17 minutes worth of help from superstar LeBron James, who put 14 points in the basket in those 17 minutes, a career low for King James.

The game also made history for Cleveland as it moved their record to 12-3, the best for the the Cavs in Franchise History. Since this game the Cavs are playing even better, having gone 10-1 since. The Thunder, despite the Cavs success earlier this season, will be looking to put together their first winning streak of the season, following the teams upset win at home on Friday night against the Chris Bosh and the visiting Toronto Raptors.

Loud City has been long overdue for a win with all the support they have shown the team this season, but hasn't been the least bit discouraged considering they are still in the top 12 in the league in average attendance, filling more than 18,000 seats each game. With LeBron in town tonight, you'll definitely be hard pressed to find any empty seats, and hopefully loud city can elevate the noise enough to boost the Thunder toward what would easily be, not only the biggest upset, but the biggest win in their short franchise history.

18? If Lebron plays more than 17 minutes, 18 won’t be a big enough spread lol :p

Thunder played much better at home than on the road, trailing by just 5 at half instead of 30+ points, but Lebron and company were just too much in the 2nd half, but considering how good the Cavs are, it was definitely a good performance by the Thunder.
