The long and short of it is: The player's union is divided, and Derek Fisher is right in the middle of the action. Fisher is being accused for not acting in the best interest of the players, misusing funds, and showing favor to friends. Fisher is asking for the support of the players, and is pledging that he will operate transparently.
It wouldn't make for a very good movie, but it's always nice to see an incident end with nobody involved getting in any drama. And it's nice to see that some stupid court battle won't be distracting Perk throughout the season.
I don't smoke pot, and I never will. But I swear, sitting back in a chair and zoning out to this insane mixtape has to be equal to or better than getting high.
As everyone knows, the NBA lockout is well on its' way to being over. And while most people in the United States are celebrating, people elsewhere are reciting their sorrows. Specifically, people in Europe are doing so, as they won't get to see NBA stars on their teams anymore.
