Love, who'll be a restricted free agent in '12 if he doesn't sign an extension with Minnesota (OKC's Westbrook is in a similar situation) got recruiting pitches from everyone during All-Star Weekend in Los Angeles.
"A lot of it was (about) OKC," Love said. "A lot of it was a few other teams that just need that one more guy. And a lot of it was circulating around the Lakers, 'cause we were out there as well. There was a lot of pressure and a lot of questions were circulating, and I almost felt like, 'Damn, I have to take a step back and, not assess the situation, but kind of look at things from a broad horizon.'
"As far as right now, I love the city of Minneapolis. I like Minnesota as a state. I love the people here. Our team is very young. We have a lot of stuff going for us when you look past the win column. I think I just have to look at that come contract time."
Durant makes a move drives a couple feet in then takes a jump shot every time. You can have your best player succeed if you don't draw up a better play. Yeah they beat Phoenix in Overtime but I'm getting tired of seeing the same play over and over at end of games.
Probably going to the Thunder vs. Nets game on the 29th of December. Live in Kansas, so should I buy tickets online/phone or just wait until I get down there. Do they normally sell out? please help me, because I don't want to miss out on the Thunder! thanks
Just did my draft, it was scheduled right during a midterm, so I had to do auto-setting. I had the last pick in 12 league draft. Ended up with Westbrook, Ibaka, Green, and Harden. Any other homers out there?
Dude this series is gona be made into a movie staring Michael j. fox as "Coach" and Ralph Macchio as "Green." Introducing Mos Def as "Durant." Don Cheadle as "Harden." And Ryan Reynolds as "Collison." Westbrook will star as himself. Kobe will be played by -enter douche bag name here-
Why the Thunder play Kristic over Collison. Collison is a great defender and rebounder and those are two of OKC's biggest needs. I don't even think Kristic is that better offensively either because he just shoots jumpers.
the Thunder draft a defensive force with one of their picks and drafts Donatas Motiejunas and send him back to europe to improve his game and add muscle to his frame. He has a lot of potential and most of his biggest holes can be improved. His biggest holes include Strength, balance, defense, and rebounding. he is only 19 years old and has tons if time to improve his defense, rebounding, balance, and strength. he will naturally get a lot stronger soon. He is 215, but will probably add a bunch of wait by the time he gets called up. If he gains wait his post defense will improve a lot because he won't get pushed around as much. Also he will be able to fight for rebounds. If he can work hard in the gym he can improve a lot of those issues. I would hope as he gains experience and improves his movement he will improve the balance issue. He is a very good offensive player. He could be a good shot blocker later in his career because of his lanky frame
