Kevin Durant named NBA Player of the Week

Kevin Durant was recognized as the NBA Western Conference Player of the Week for the week of January 7-13.

For the third time this season, Kevin Durant was named as the Western Conference Player of the Week for the week of January 7-13. His Eastern Conference counterpart was Brandon Jennings. Durant has also won the award for the weeks of November 12-18 and November 26-December 2.

Following a loss to the Wizards, Durant led the Thunder to three consecutive wins and OKC has now won 4 games in a row.

Jan. 7 @ the Wizards - 29 points, 8 rebounds, 7 assists, 3 steals

Jan. 9 vs the Timberwolves - 26 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists, 4 blocks, 3 steals

Jan. 11 @ the Lakers - 42 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists, 1 block
