Will OKC management do everything to keep Ibaka & Harden?
I know this is a bit premature, but as a general NBA (specifically Nets & Heat) fan I'm interested at how this plays out. OKC is considered a small market team, so maybe your ownership isn't willing to match all offers. I think Harden will definitely get a max contract (about $12M 1st yr salary) from someone and Ibaka will get a minimum of $8M so assuming the thunder match that will put them at $68M with just 6 people under contract.
The Thunder are in a very rare and lucky position to have four great players (who can still improve) still under relatively small contracts.
So what do you guys think,
1) Will OKC management match any and all offers for Harden & Ibaka, or will they let one of them walk (or trade away one of them)?
2) Along what price range do you think are they willing to match?
3) If one of them has to go, which would he be?
a) Harden is better but costlier and his talents overlap with Durant and Westbrook, and so he plays limited minutes and will never be used to his max potential)
b) Ibaka is less talented, but is cheaper and meshes better with the core of Durant and Westbrook
