Even though he scored 43 points tonight he hurt the team with his low basketball IQ. Russell is an amazing talent and a pure scorer. He is a hard nosed player that gives everything he's got except one thing; Attention to detail.

Russell dominates the ball with his dribbling and shoots too much too often. He rarely elevates the play of his teammates on offense because he refuses to make chemistry inducing passes. He routinely wanders off into space during timeouts when Coach Brooks is drawing up plays.

His lack of attention to detail is now costing you guys wins in the NBA Finals and it's sad to watch.

Tonight he managed only 5 assists in 45 minutes of play while Serge Ibaka got 2 in 17 minutes. Westbrook is not smart enough to understand that when he doesn't pass to get his teammates playing with chemistry it forces Harden and Durant to score more difficult one on one shots while the role players stagnate and watch. This makes Ibaka, Perkins, and Sabo almost useless on the offensive end. It also gives Miami role players more energy late in games and added confidence because they know that OKC role players are no threat to score.

You guys are smart fans so I'm not telling you something you don't already know but how do OKC fans feel about this? Is it a love hate relationship with Westbrook in Oklahoma City?
