The Thunder defeated the Kings last night for the first of two games against Sacramento in this final stretch of play. The Thunder did a great job getting a lead early. Although they were not able to stretch it to a comfortable margin, their defense played well in preventing too many easy Kings baskets that could have made the game more competitive.
Most notable is the fact that the team overcame poor defensive rebounding in the first half (they gave up 15 offensive rebounds) and held the Kings to only two additional ORB's in the second. The shift went a great length to deciding the game in the end.
