Kevin Durant put together an impressive stretch of basketball over the past seven days, earning his third NBA Western Player of the Week honor this season. He is joined in the honor by the Hawks' Joe Johnson.

After a lackluster start to the week with a loss to the Utah Jazz, the Thunder followed up with three impressive wins over the Clippers, Timberwolves, and Heat. During that run, Durant averaged 33.3 points per game, 11.7 rebounds, 6 assists, and 2.3 steals. The final win against the Heat was the first of two match-ups against last season's Eastern Conference Finals representative, and they play again in Miami on April 4. The Thunder take on the East leading Chicago Bulls on April first, three games which could possibly help determine which conference will gain home court advantage in the Finals.
Durant also won Player of the Week honors for the week of Dec. 25 - Jan. 1 and Feb. 13 - Feb. 19.
Durant's fellow All-Star and running mate Russell Westbrook also has won the honor this season, twice being named Western Conference Player of the Week for the weeks of Jan. 23 - Jan. 29 and Feb. 6 - Feb. 12.
