NBA admits it: Blazers beat Thunder last night
After reviewing the controversial "goaltending" call against LaMarcus Aldridge (block of Durant layup with 6 seconds in the game) the NBA admitted today that the call was wrong, LA legitimately blocked KD and the Blazers should have won the game by 2 points during regulation.
Here's a link to the NBA officiating website with the explanation: http://www.nba.com/official/
Unfortunately, the NBA does not allow review of goaltending calls and consequently the bad call was allowed to stand. The official record books will show that OKC beat Portland last night, but anyone who saw the play knows the win comes with a huge asterisk.

Sucks to suck...
A win is a win. No one cares
actually....
The NBA admitted it was a block… which means after the block it was still a live ball…which Harden got the rebound… with still 6 seconds left… but yea… youre right the Thunder have never been able to get a last second shot while being down two to either tie or win the game… oh wait… they did…http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LtlAhRDTDYU&feature=fvst

Does that huge asterisk also account
for all the flops by Batum and the fact that on “The Call,” Aldridge held Durant’s arm and should,d have been a foul?
No? Well then, time to stop crying over spilt milk.

ruined our season too
Blazers be stankin’ since that bogus call. I’m being serious, there’s a grip of fans over here that truly believe that if we’d won that game, our entire season would not be as lousy as it has been. I try calming them down by suggesting the 5 minutes of Thunder dunk-fest in overtime was how we lost that game. But it isn’t sticking.
