Royce Young at Daily Thunder thinks so. If it is, I have to say that I was really hoping for some ornate sleigh bells or something across the shoulders.

Either Kevin Durant has been lifting weights, or he has been morphed into Serge Ibaka in this new game.

Royce Young at Daily Thunder astutely tweet at some of the pros at Operation Sports to hopefully find out what they thought about both the Thunder's alternate away jerseys as well as the apparent misspelling in their name, "THUDNER." Those guys had the knowledge and insight to actually investigate into it further. Apparently they employ someone called a 'hex editor,' a person who was able to dig into the game itself and pull out these alternate uniforms. Says Operation Sports:
Not fake :) Thunder mispelled seems to make it look like it tho. We have some hex editors at OS that found all of them.
Props to the experts for getting to the bottom of the authenticity of the alternate jerseys as well as THUDNER.

Gaming site Kotaku has a comment on the Thunder's name misspelling as well:
NBA 2K13 Misspells Oklahoma City’s New Uniform | Kotaku
"The shirts aren't yet in the game, assuming 2K Sports doesn't pull this back. Oklahoma City has only its home and road jerseys under the latest title update for 360 and PS3) So I don't know how people are getting their hands on these screens. I've pinged 2K Sports for an explanation and will update the post when they give one. Until then, I'm dumbfounded. Flabbergasted. Thudnerstruck, even."

We previously noted that the game NBA 2K13 may have inadvertently revealed the colors of the Thunder's away jerseys. One thing we neglected to note the first time around, but astute gamers did not miss, was that the team's name is misspelled. THUDNER?

The video game leaks of that alternate Thunder uniform are coming from multiple sources now, so I’m inclined to think they’re legit — except for one thing: As you can see above, they misspelled "Thunder."

What the team appears to be going for here is a "faux-retro" look, which has been a trend in the NBA lately. That being said, I absolutely love the new duds.
