Here we go!
I would be thrilled to see some great defensive intensity in this game

LOL
That inside madness was what the Nets and Celtics did to us all of the last two games

Holy cow
Perkins misses the dunk and Ibaka misses the easy lay in.
NBAtv
I’m pretty sick of only getting the other teams broadcast on NBAtv!
Don't they switch at half-time?

Nope :(
Sometimes they carry both broadcasts. As much as it costs I don’t know why they don’t carry all the broadcasts, haha.
Ah, that sucks.
I guess it’s one of those things that just makes too much sense to have a basis in reality.

If it's like xm radio...
and the way they do MLB games, you always get the home teams’ crew.
Not always..
I’ve been stuck with the other team a couple times when OKC was at home I think.
Well that's just shenanigans
Get your broom…..
(How many get that South Park reference?)
Westbrook is straight up Ballin' right now

Westbrook looks good so far...
… maybe we’re in for a statement game post contract signing?
Oh hey
Just realized I’m over 1000 comments on WTLC :D
We appreciate the effort, sir!

Hahahaha
The look from Durant when Jackson almost passed on that open 3.
“What are you thinking rookie?!”
The Nets really need a Small Forward....
MarShawn Brooks isn’t looking too good out there.

Nets announcers..
I’m actually enjoying their commentators. Not too homerish and they seem to have done their homework on the Thunder.
I really like Ian Eagle
His voice is so listenable and cheezy at the same time

I had a..
fraternity brother who could do voices like that. Where is he now? Main sports reporter at a TV station in El Paso. It still cracks me up.
That's awesome. Does he do the voice while reporting?

My suspicions have been answered. I swear Brian Davis has a “Normal” voice that we’ve never heard before.

Here he is...
can’t find a clip at the moment
HA
Here he is being very caring and sincere: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8sZjZBQ5NYs
That gave me a good chuckle.
Tonight will be a good test for Harden
He’s really been struggling on the road as of late
www.welcometoloudcity.com
I think more than lately
don’t his road woes go back to last year?
probably right
it is symptomatic of young bench players too; Harden’s so good though, he should be able to turn the corner in this area.

agreed
We’re gonna need that in the playoffs.
Aye aye aye
Still having some major problems with our second unit’s offensive flow

it's weird
it’s not like they’re not even getting good shots; they just don’t seem to have shot-making confidence with Maynor gone

sigh
you’re spot on. I REALLY miss Eric.
Jackson
He’s looking like he has serious confidence issues. That’s twice that he’s almost passed on that wide open 3 and he just looks skittish. I wish he would’ve had more time to acclimate to the NBA before he had to take serious minutes.
it's true; he's come into an impossibly difficult situation
at least he has 50 more games with a guaranteed 15 minutes per night to learn to play with these guys

Grrrrrrrrr
Those kind of 3 pointers that KD missed, with 15+ seconds on the shot clock, frustrate the shit outta me. No passes, just dribble to 26 feet and shoot.
I'm sure it's tough psychologically
when you know you can do things like that, you just think you can do things like that all the time. Kind of like Kobe or T-Mac back in the day. The mental challenge is to realize that the team becomes so much better when KD goes against settling for the jumper and really makes the defense work.

Glory be
Nets are 28th in the league in rebounding and they still have 10 offensive boards in the 1st half already.
www.welcometoloudcity.com
Yeah
This is really starting to make me ill. All these second chances teams are getting against us are just maddening.
Yeah, but at least we're somewhat competing with them in that department tonight
In the past two games, we were just getting outright destroyed

it really undermine's OKC's defensive ability too
they should be better defensively than they are, but almost every game the other team ends up getting more shot attempts

true, true
it’s not like Deron can check him out that high. That shoulda been a play moving toward the rim. RW is doing a good job spotting cutters; a penetration move would probably have yielded a better shot.

Nets have been abysmal
It’s not often that you’ll ever catch me saying that I’m disappointed only being up 13 at the half but man, this should be ridiculous right now.
I can live with the spotty offense
only 4 points in last 3 min of the half; not great offensive flow during that time.
Defense is playing with much more intensity this game, which is why they’re doing well.
www.welcometoloudcity.com
What does "defensive rotation" mean?
On a side note, what does “ball movement” mean?

any speculation on this terrible rebounding?
it seems like they get an awful lot of hands on the ball after a shot, but then lose control and the other team gets the offensive board. Is it just concentration? or are they out of position?

Let's just say
I can’t wait to get Synergy Sports.
Still, I don’t see a lot of Boxing out. It’s like our players want to use their athleticism rather than fundamentals for their rebounds.

good defense
but 16 points scored in the 3rd after 20 in the 2nd. Against the 29th ranked defense in the league.
That said, still very good defense. NJ has yet to score 20 points in a quarter.

this game has been a sloppy mess. just glad we’re gonna come out on top.
