Anyone here?
I had a ton of trouble loading the main page. Wasn’t on my end.
Eugh
Started out settling for jumpers but it looks like they are starting to distribute a little more which makes me hopeful. Defense looks decent so far.
Defense
looks great. Serge playing like a maniac. If Westbrook will quit pulling from Philly, we’ll be just fine.
Not sure.
Didn’t even notice until you said something. It’s amazing the stuff I don’t pick up on, haha.
I didn't notice either.
My Dad called and asked me.
Anyone still having technical issues with the site?
Just let me know and I’ll get on it.

actually...
now yes, there is a problem. loading comments very slowly now
lol
it could just be b/c our comments threads can get a bit anemic at times
I’ll see what I can do on the back-end though.

Good first quarter
Wasn’t overly impressed with the beginning but now they’re attacking the basket and not turning the ball over. Usually a recipe for lead for OKC.
the key to remember
is that the Celtics are averaging LESS than 90 ppg. So the Thunder don’t need to worry about Boston going on 20-2 runs or anything like that. They just need to play from in front and limit Boston’s offensive rebounding.

The CelticsBlog guys don't know what's up with the jerseys either
Maybe OKC forgot to bring their blues, and begged the Celtics to switch!
www.welcometoloudcity.com
Or maybe..
That color green combined with our color blue would have ripped a hole in the space-time continuum
looks like...
boston scouted that harden-collison give and go
Bench not looking great..
.. neither is Boston’s though.
Jackson is playing hard
but you can really see what the team lost when Maynor went down. He just knew how to run an offense, getting guys into the right spots.

yep
IMO maynor runs the offense better than any guard we have. Is he explosive like RW? No. But he runs the offense better.
it shall be a low-scoring affair methinks

playing hard...
on defense. Looking sloppy at times offensively. Still in the lead. Starters are coming back in.
Really love the way Westbrook is playing right now
Pushing the offense hard, making the Celtics work extra hard to get back on D.

Two great defensive plays to end the half
The offense is still spotty and settling for long shots, but defensively, they’re really snuffing out anything that the Celtics are trying to do.

yep
Westbrook is really playing in the moment. He helped force the steal, and then had the presence of mind to get the ball to his trailer for the slam.

Maybe we're crossing signals
I’m talking about the one in the final minute of play where the Thunder got the steal, kicked it up ahead to RW, and then he fed Durant for the trailing slam.

haha, cool
to help clarify it for you, for some reason, the home team is wearing their away jerseys ;-)

Barkley...
is a hater. He always has something negative to say about our team or our state. Kenny is talking sense though.
at least we know what to expect from Chuck
by contrast, the whole thing between Perk & C-Webb was just mystifying

That was weird.
I’m still confused about that.
Is swearing allowed?
"Fuck this shit. Is this fucking season over yet? It is? Jesus H. motherfucking Christ on a stick! Get Nick Holt on the phone NOW! Stupid motherfucker forces us to score touchdowns on every possession, and we still can't win the Alamo Bowl? Hey, asshole! It's Steve Sarkisian. You're fucking FIRED, you FUCK!"

Celtics have 4 layups so far
They’re always good in out of bounds plays, but OKC is leaving driving lanes wide open

and another PP layup
what the deuce?

That rim is really finicky.

Run the damn offense!
this gets so frustrating. Sprint down the court and take an 18 footer.
Airball? Seriously?

Don't mind those last two threes..
Durant was wide open, always expect him to shoot those. Wish he would have knocked them both down though, that would have been big!
HOW MANY LONG TWOS CAN GARNETT MISS?!

geez...
knocking paint off the rim with those cinder blocks.
Perkins big in the 3rd..
Nice to see him stepping up
another layup?
gracious, guys. Just protect the rim and force Boston to make a shot beyond 8 feet.
www.welcometoloudcity.com
That's what we need..
from RW. not so damn many jumpers
Oh, here we go...
Westbrook’s leaving OKC. He could be a star in LA. We can’t pay him. blah blah blah
Hay did you know that Westbrook sometimes doesn't pass the ball?
Therefore, NOT A PG!

Eugh Westbrook..
The only thing good about that 3 is that you made it!
still too many 3-point attempts tho
only shooting 2-10, and they don’t even need to be taking them. there are spots to get closer.

Ok James...
you don’t have the 3 ball tonight. Stop jackin’ em up
Good recovery
OKC pulled it together there. but still, too many outside shots when they don’t need to be settling.
www.welcometoloudcity.com
It seems sometimes
that we just lose our minds and starting playing like a rec league team.
I don't know...
They are getting some pretty wide open looks from 3 and most of the misses are coming from the two players that I pretty much always expect to shoot a wide open 3. They just aren’t falling.
I'm sure it's tough when you're playing in the moment
but that’s why teams have coaches, to tell them that if they kept hammering the ball inside, they’d be crushing the Celtics now

Didn't I tell..
harden to stop doing that?!?
What the hell?
A Harden three, followed by two BLOCKED Collison jumpers. We can do better than that.

what the hell was that?
I’ve never seen Collison attempt that shot. That was a play?
As was pointed out early...
these are the times when we miss maynor the most. he settled the team down, ran the offense, and made few turnovers.
and again!
going to Sefalosha in the crunch to get those big buckets

This is going to be a great finish!
one thing that has flown under the radar
OKC has done a great defensive job on Ray Allen this game.
that said, watch out for these out of bounds plays. he’s deadly on them.

Thunder winning with threes.
Who knew? I still say we could have sealed this one earlier if we were more responsible offensively. You can’t win every night by just being extremely ballin’.

But wow, Sefalosha really stepped up when Harden struggled.
19 points, 5 boards, 4 steals, great D on Ray Allen
