Chad Ford just reported a few minutes ago that the Thunder front office has quietly been asking around to see if there is interest in back-up point guard Eric Maynor:
Ford reports that they have asked both the Kings (#7) and Bobcats (#9) about their interest in the young point guard. The bigger question though is, in a weak draft, who are the Thunder looking at? Ford speculates that it might be Lithuanian Jonas Valanciunas.
What do you think about OKC looking to trade Eric Maynor to move up in the draft?
I hate it; OKC needs Maynor to continue backing up Westbrook (36 votes)
Hate to see Maynor go, but there is talent on the draft board that can help the Thunder (19 votes)
Maynor is as good as gone in a year; best to trade him for assets now (21 votes)
Terrible idea; there is nobody after the top 2 picks that are worth giving up a proven playoff contributor (22 votes)
